I'm Ben Shannon, a Civil Engineering master's student concentrating in Geotechnical Engineering. I coded this website from scratch mainly to improve my coding skill, but also to show off some of my engineering work. I started the Civil Engineering master's program at MSU in Spring of 2023 and am studying under Dr. Fei Wang. I am concentrating in Geotechnical Engineering and I have taken some great courses like CE 8673 Blast Effects, CE 6483 Geosynthetics, CE 8303 Material Characterization, and CE 8473 Theoretical Soil Mechanics. In summer of 2024, I interned at the Mississippi Department of Transportation at their Traffic Division in Jackson, MS.
